The scouting screen is where you can view the list of scouts in Neutral Zone. You can hire and fire scouts from this screen, view a scouts details, extend a scouts contract or use your scout for various jobs.

Your scout can be your most valuble member of personel as a team with a good scout has more of an inside track on the information within Neutral Zone. Your scout is mostly used to find a players potential ablility. The more accurate a scout is at predicting a players potential, the more you will gain from it. However, your scout can be used to do many other jobs such as analysing your next opponents gameplan, comparing team strengths, predicting what the weather will be like on game day and giving you his predicted order in the draft.

A scouts salary will count towards your salary cap, therefore you have to make a choice. Do you go with the high priced scout and eat up cap room, go with a lower priced scout who may not be accurate, or have no scout at all and rely on your own judgement when signing players.

You can also hire more than one scout, and use all of your scouts to try and work out the actual value of a players potential.

The scout details shown on the screen are as follows:

  • Name   - The scouts name.
  • Age    - The scouts age.
  • Salary - The scouts recommended salary.
  • Ski    - How good the scout is at predicting skill.
  • Spe    - How good the scout is at predicting speed.
  • Str    - How good the scout is at predicting strength.
  • Sta    - How good the scout is at predicting stamina.
  • Wea    - How good the scout is at predicting the weather.
  • OGp    - How good the scout is at spotting offensive gameplans.
  • DGp    - How good the scout is at spotting defensive gameplans.
  • Rate   - How good the scout is at predicting player ratings.
  • Exp    - How good the scout is at predicting player experience.
  • Int    - How good the scout is at predicting player intelligence.
  • Lea    - How good the scout is at predicting player leadership.
  • Cha    - How good the scout is at predicting player charisma.
  • Inf    - How good the scout is at predicting player influence.
  • Self   - How good the scout is at predicting player selfishness.
  • Agg    - How good the scout is at predicting player aggression.
  • Temp   - How good the scout is at predicting player temperment.
  • Ill    - How good the scout is at predicting player illigalities.
  • Sel    - How good the scout is at predicting player selfishness.

    • Hire Scout

    If the scout highlighted is not employed by any team then you will have the option to offer him a contract. Clicking the HIRE SCOUT button will allow you to offer the scout a contract.

    Clicking on this button with a scout highlighted allows you to view that scouts details.

    Scouting Jobs

    Clicking on this button with a scout highlighted allows you to use the scout to perform various jobs.

    Extend Contract

    Clicking on this button lets you extend the contract of a currently hired scout.

    Fire Scout

    You can fire your scouts at any time by highlighting one and clicking this button.
