The hire scout screen allows you to offer a scout a contract. You set the number of turns that you would like to hire the scout for along with the salary that you would like to offer the scout. All bids for scouts will be processed when the turn is run. If you hire a scout he will stay on your team for the number of turns you offered him and his salary will count against your salary cap. You may at any time fire your scout, or extend his contract for more turns.
